Cary Garden Club of North Carolina
Supports 7 major Gardens in North Carolina: Plant America Fund, Daniel Boone Gardens, Elizabethan Gardens, Martha Franck Fragrance Gardens, R.J. Raulston Arboretum, UNC Botanical Gardens and the Nature Conservatory.
Participates each spring in the National Garden Week by creating beautiful displays in several of the local libraries.
Donates to the financial support scholarship fund for advanced Horticulture studies.
Shares home grown fresh vegetables with the Dorcas Ministries Food Bank to help meet a need within the community.
Maintains a raised flower bed in the Historic Hillcrest Cemetery in downtown Cary.
Coordinates with other local Clubs to maintain a Pollinator Garden at the Page Walker Museum and Art Center.
Provides September thru June monthly programs on a variety of gardening related topics.
Explores other garden spots through specifically arranged fieldtrips together.
Recognizes the importance of their partnership with the Cary Senior Center located in Bond Park and the Town of Cary.
Enjoys participating in annual silent auctions, garden coupon fundraisers and the annual Senior Center Yard Sale.
Donates extra funds to community organizations to help promote their love of gardens.
Promotes itself as being a social club with an interest in gardening.
Prides itself on being welcoming to all members of the community.
